U21 football

Well done to the U21 footballers on a fabulous performance in New Inn this evening that saw us qualify for the County Final. The first half was nip and tuck but we lead by two points at the break. In the next 15 mins we played some sublime direct football and scored 1.06 without reply. Cashel threw caution to the wind in an effort to save the game - scoring two late goals. However, we had the hard work done and held on for a (nervy) four point victory. Everybody contributed to the victory, but special mention to Marc Ahearne, Cian Hogan, Graham Quinn, Conor Arrigan, & Dean Kelleher, who all gave top drawer performances. The final is scheduled for the weekend of 6/7th May. Well done to all players and management team. Final score 1.13 to 2.06
