Cúl Camp

posted 12 Jul 2011, 01:49 by Admin Clonmel Og
Despite the inclement weather we had a wonderful Cúl Camp last week. The young boys and girls who turned up in big numbers were treated to top coaching in a relaxed and fun atmosphere and when the rain came down we moved indoors and the fun continued. Tipperary star Padraig Maher and County Chairman Barry O’ Brien brought the Liam McCarthy cup to Ned Hall Park on Wednesday and they were greeted enthoustically by everybody and many autographs were given and photos taken.

Our thanks to John Cummins and his coaching team which included three Clonmel Og men, Christy Aylward, Mathew Norris and Cian Hogan, who did a fine job.

And finally to everybody who assisted during the camp and especially Laura Barrett who was great during the week and most especially to Elaine Downey who worked tirelessly to make sure that everything was done properly and people were looked after and the success of the camp is a testament to her efforts.
