Clonmel Óg (0-08) v Eíre Óg Annacarthy (0-06)
We put out a young and experimental side on Sunday last in our first ever outing in the County senior football league against Eíre Óg Annacarthy in Ned Hall Park. Great credit is due to our U21 players who turned out again on Sunday . Sometimes we can be very critical of our younger generation but our lads done us proud over the weekend . This was a lively encounter and we defended stoutly and attacked with purpose throughout the game and we held on for a deserved two point victory in the end. It is hard to pick out anybody as this was a good team performance but Noel Walsh who was playing his second game of the day, Colm O' Connell, Graham Quinn, Michael Condon, Mathew Norris, Eoin Fallon,Dean Kelleher and Cian Hogan made vital contributions.
